Sound problem with second monitor

Hey Kids,

 

I need your help, you see I Got an old monitor with a VGA port and used an HDMI to VGA converter to hook up my new laptop to this old monitor. 

you see it works well, But here's the problem: I want to play music (through my laptop) and I Can't Hear the music. I went to the sound Control panel and made the monitor to "set Default" But doesn't work somehow. Please help.

Do you want to hear the music from the monitor???

Try adding headphones to your monitor or pc to see if that helps.
