Budget PC

Hi this is the pc im planning to build: corsair rm850x, gigabyte z270X ultra gaming, i7-7700k, 16gb 3000mhz ram, gtx 1060 6gb

 

is it really a budget pc and should i change anything?

No reason to use a 7th gen i7 unless you're getting a smoking deal.

 

I'd trade it for a 8700k, or even 8600k and Z370 motherboard.

What are you going to be doing with it and what upgrades do you plan to do in the future, because if you intend to build and forget, and game, that 7700k is unnecessarily powerful

if the 7700k was a budget built now i'm really confused. A 8700k  on a z370 a budget build?

If that's what the kids are calling, I roll with it.

 

A Z370 isn't any more expensive than a Z270. I'd take even a 8600k over a 7700k.
