computer keeps waking up. help please

kaylexmorgana

It wakes me up to which is the biggest issue. yes I know powercfg -lastwake I did that.  it says usb20 hub so I check which one that is. and that is the issue. in the picture is the device. hub20. yes I checked the rest as well. So I don't know how to fix this  like you would easily with programs or a actual usb device.

Right click it --> Properties --> Power Management then uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer.” I had the same issue but found out it was my network connection waking my PC.

Can you provide a screen shot of the Properties page?

I would check inside your BIOS (hit F2 a bunch of times on boot) and find a section for "Power Management" or for your USB settings. In there you should be able to turn off USB wake function all together on your system.

P.S. Your font in Windows made me puke... LOL

P.P.S. I love your Username... Please never change it xD

looked through it. no events for power troubleshoot.  I don't know why there is so many keyboards but all I have plugged in is mouse keyboard and the razor one. but none of them match the number "20"
