Hi all. Me and my brother decided to do some fun bench marking a short while ago (15 minutes). We were using an i7 7700k on a Z270F board, using the Corsair H115i.

We used the Passmark benchmark, PerformanceTest 9.0.

Case fan configuration was 2 140mm intakes and 1 140mm exhaust, with the radiators going at full speed ONLY when the CPU hit 60c.

We were using the CPU benchmark.

These were the results.

4.8GHz - 13553

5.0GHz(First time he has dared go to 5.0GHz) - 13895

5.2GHz - 13938

5.3GHz - Crashed at 10% progress. Not sure if it was the CPU or Motherboard.

What is the highest you have hit your 7700k?

Our results were 5.2GHz at 1.24 Vcore reaching a maximum of 65c.

5.2 at 1.24v? Did you even run a stress test to check stability?

he is overclocking for high scores and lulz not for stability.

OP tried overclocking uncore? it may give slightly better synthetic results.

The overclocking was done by using a tool on the PC. We didn't change any settings in the BIOS.

hi.
