Acer monitor "No signal"

Hi,

I cleaned my pc today, but when I plugged in my monitor (acer xf240h ) with DP it would say "no signal". So I tried HDMI, same result, so I tried another monitor (iiyama) also same result.

It worked fine before...

My pc works fine as far as I can know because I can log in without needing to see the login screen. I can tell that i'm logged in bc my rgb keyboard has a different color combination before and after I log in.

My fans are spinning rgb is lighting up and usb peripherals will "boot"

I searched for solutions but I couldn't find any helpful, I've tried unplugging it, different monitor, different cable. I'm out of options thanks in advance.

Edit: another pc works with the screen

Have you tried unplugging the video card and plugging in in again?

I did that when I was cleaning my pc.

The video card seems to be OK bc as you can see the rgb is on but I will unplug it again.

I have the same Monitor. Turn off the electricity (plug the monitor out of it) for like 1 min, plug it in again, reboot and have fun :) I have this problem also once in a while and simply cutting the electricity for a min helps!

hope it works for you too
