I'm so glad I bought these, and on sale at $45 to boot! About the light clamp, this is my opinion but they fit great for me. I wear glasses and a tighter clamp would make it a bit too uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Nice review, your DAC/AMP setup looks pretty interesting too. Lots of Schiit there.

That MPOW bluetooth adaptor is also pretty interesting I've never seen that before. Wonder if I can find a good review on those things somewhere.

Nice review. Nice Black valhalla 2, I had one before I sold it to get something that could drive speakers as well.

I have never heard these headphones, but they do seem pretty good.

Actually they are close to 3 times as much here, which makes K612 cheaper :D

Plus when I tried them the only thing that stood out to me was grain and I just couldn't stop focusing on it.

Nice overall review, keep it up.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

Haven't heard the SHP9500 myself, but from what I've gathered, a great pair of budget cans. Your review more or less reaffirms this, great review BTW, keep up the good work!B|

Dope review, but I think using expensive audio equipment for cheaper cans hurts the review because most people spending 55 dollars on headphones won't amp it.

These things are amazing. It’s nice because you can turn any headphones or speakers into Bluetooth. I actually plugged it into a guitar Amp and was playing music off my phone to the Amp, it was really cool. They have a good battery life, and push a decent amount of power. They also can be plugged into a portable Amp and convert that to Bluetooth and I’ve seen people get two of them and plug one into the output of a desktop Amp and another into the headphones and have them paired. Supposedly, however I haven’t personally tried this, they carry the sound change of the Amp well even carrying the sound change of tubes.

Really? They are going to use them on a $2400 Schiit Yggdrasil?

Yep the grain was the biggest issue. But I can’t say I can complain a ton for the price.

You could also look at it is this way, because he uses good high'ish end gear (mainly the DAC) and then okay mid range gear, then there wouldn't be anything holding them back and therefore they will be playing at their absolute best and show their true potential.

Just like with GPU reviews, they use a total overkill CPU to insure that the CPU isn't bottlenecking the GPU.

But I can :D. At 125€ or more that grain shouldn't be there. Ofc you judge them on the US price and I judge them on the EU price.

Yes a bit, but that's obvious when you go from a $2400 DAC and a Class A Amp, to the Bluetooth decoder of a $13 adapter. But it isn't that bad, and I can use it no problem, it's not a dramatic change, but noticeable.
