Laptop FASTER than your Gaming PC?

My desktop is stationary, I would hope a laptop which is mobile can move around faster than my desktop. I mean just the other day my work laptop was going about 75mph down the interstate.

It's not and my platform is from few years ago. 12 threads at 4.5GHz is still doing very well even today. Quad channel also helps with relatively slow RAM, giving tons of bandwidth.
