while playing games lately i have noticed and high amount of cpu usage (bf4 for example)

ive been playing and my gtx 760 is running with 30% - 40%  usage while my AMD FX 6100 is running with about 80%-90% usage.

with this im getting poor FPS while even on low settings

if im correct this shouldn't be a problem with this processor on bf4 (my brother has the same chip and can play bf4 fine with a gtx 650)

if anyone has any ideas on why this may be or anything that can help, please post.

I'd suggest checking your temps and maybe a re install of windows if your not going above 65c

im getting about 47 C on the CPU [stock cooler], and 33 C on the GPU

BF4 is notably very CPU intensive, so look at other games. Also, at one point, and I don't know if it's been resolved, for some reason for some people on BF4 Low setting was really Ultra and vice versa, so try turning the settings up.

Are you sure those screenshots are taken in game? Those temperatures are very low for AMD CPUs under load, especially for the stock cooler. I'd expect more like 60-70C at least. Perhaps in your BIOS you've got it set to power saving or some similar mode. Can you grab CPU-Z from http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html (on the right) and post a screenshot in game.

from being in the bios i didnt see anything for a power saving mode, but i did see something called hardware temp control which may/Probably be a factor on this.

and while ingame i set most of the setting to high and the fps was decent but i had some frame stutters frequently

and heres another screen shot

That's odd because it is running at 100% clock speed (it's not underclocked itself) but it's fairly cool (warmer than the last screenshot though, and closer than what I'd expect), but the GPU is only running at 30% load which is really low. It says on the screenshot of afterburner that it's running at only 34% of the power limit of the card, and the usage is similar, which is surprising in an intensive game like BF4. My i5 3570k goes to 85% load and my HD7870 goes to 98% load in the test range, so there's definately something wrong with your system. I don't have nvidia (yet), but is there a setting in your drivers which could be limiting your GPU (GPU boost?)? Otherwise, I don't know where to look. If you scrolled down the afterburner monitoring panel to show the actual clock speeds, we could check if throttling is actually occurring, but otherwise I can't think of what to do.

i personally didnt see anything in the Nvidia control panel  thats limiting Gpu power
and my gpu is advertised to have a core clock of around 1085 MHz -store page-

heres a screens shot with viewing everything on Afterburner while ingame and from what i see my core clock isnt reaching the 1085 as said

You are only getting 47C during BF4 using the AMD stock cooler and 33C on the GPU @ load? What? Stock CPU coolers are usually in the 60-70C range @ load. GPU is usually 50C+ @ load. Are you a wizard?

Also BF4 is very resource intensive, it will use 80% of your CPU or more depending on what processor you have.

its winter and quite cold in my room... maybe thats it.

but  yes i know that BF4 is very dependent on the Cpu , but i would just like to know why my gpu is only at around 40% usage during a game of BF4. and if i may need to upgrade my Processor next

and after doing a clean install of the Nvidia Drivers , there wasn't much improvement with that. if there was it was very little

I remember reading something about AMD having issues with Core parking. Are you running windows 7? If so try to unpark your CPU cores. Might help. There are a lot of 6000 series AMD uses having similar issues.

After you do that, try this:

CPU: i7-3930K @ 4.8GHz MOBO: IV Gene RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 1866MHz GPU: GTX 780 Ti CASE: Corsair 350D STORAGE: 2 x Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, 2x WD Red 4TB
