wow, that's kinda hurtful hearing you talking about my system, I have low self-esteem so can you please dial it down?

I kinda traded looks for airflow so I'll take it.

And yeah I thought so it sucks that they still haven't had any good microATX X470. I was hoping Asrock would do it but seems like they don't even bother making them. :/

It was a joke. And a very clear one at that. Your build is great, don't worry about it. Sorry if you couldn't read that from my message.

Like I said, the platform is new. Manufacturers don't always prepare 20 different models at launch. It's something that grows over time.

I'm with you on wanting a mATX board in the x470 chipset. Its fairly concerning that there was a very limited release on the previous chipset, almost as if board manufactures don't see profit in manufacturing them. Unfortunately I can't downsize to a mITX system since I require at least 2 PCI-E slots, I refuse to abandon my Xonar Essence STX ii.

It has disappointed me as well. You are pretty much limited to budget B350 boards if you go mATX. There were barely a handful of X370 mATX boards, and those seem to have mostly disappeared by now. No X470 mATX boards have been launched, announced, or even rumored as far as I can tell.

Kinda sad. The great majority of people don't need full ATX, mATX basically lets you save a good amount of space with no relevant sacrifice (for most people). Unlike mITX where there are serious tradeoffs for the space savings.
