Amplifying Mic from ModMic

Hi All,

 

I bought a modmic 5 from modmic a couple of months ago and overall i'm pretty happy with it. One problem i am having though is the volume of the mic seems to be very low, i tried using their portable USB sound card but the input sound quality was terrible, my in-built sound card amplifies it but the noise cancellation is not as good when i do +20 dB on the mic. 

 

Is there any way i can solve this using any other equipment?

You could use adobe audition cc and virtual audio cable
