A friend of mine is looking at dualbooting Windows 10 and OSX and is curious if the TR4 platform will work on MacOS.  He does video production, high end simulation calculations and programming, we are looking between 4-5k.  Ideally we are looking at 64GB of Ram, GTX 1080 TI, dual 250GB NVME SSD's and a 1TB SSD Storage drive.  He said he may game a little, he has a 4770k with dual 780's I built for him about 4-5 years ago that is still screaming.  We are also going to be doing a racing simulator for him later this year but that will be with an 8700k most likely.

You'll need to look elsewhere as Hackintosh content is against the rules of this forum. I'm not sure how MacOS (OS X is older) handles Threadripper.

Well I didn't ask about Hackintosh, I asked about MacOS and hardware compatibility?
