hi guys i bought an ssd this week and i have a problem now.

long story short my ssd boots in 17 seconds, my hard drive was faster, and now instead of the windows logo i have an asus logo from the splash screen of my motherboard

im willing to reinstall windowes if it will solve the problem, any help is welcomed!!!

You're booting in UEFI mode now, yes. Also, a full boot will take longer than a resume after a shutdown because Windows 10 uses a hybrid sleep system where a shutdown isn't a shutdown but a glorified hibernation. A reboot performs the full boot process.

 

Could you provide some more info on your system? Which SSD? Is it an NVMe drive by any chance?
