Acer or Acer?

Went to buy Dell 7577 I5 variant and it seems that laptop is out of stock everywhere and i want a similar priced and specs laptop by end of today.

So i got 2 options right now:

Acer nitro v15 BE VN7-593G(gtx 1060)

and the Acer predator helios 300.

 

So out of these two which one is better, other suggestions are welcome as well.

Both don't have good cooling. V Nitro is slightly better but not good enough.

 

Where are you from? What's your budget and what are your requirements?

No laptop other than the Thinkpad G40 has good cooling.

Very solid machine, highly suggest going with this. Ive got a more "consumer-y" Aspire with an i5 7200u and HD620, i was surprised by the build quality and aesthetic design of such a cheap little laptop. Also that dank 1080p screen (though it has a weird finish).

Theyre all built on the same chassis, only problem i could see with having that higher end hardware in there for gaming is that a spaced island chiclet keyboard isnt great for games. Then again thats about all you find nowadays anyway.

I think you sould get the Acer helios 300. It is the same price, but with a pascal 1060. Way better.

Aspire line has poor QC record and bad thermal paste job. Cooling solution also OKish.

No no, this thing has mediocre cooling. Also it has full 1060N not Max-Q

I am from Nepal and my current budget is around $1250, due to customs and tax everything has higher price and  dell 7577 costs around 1150$ i5 variant and heiios 300 also costs around the same. As for requirement i need i5 8gb ram 256 ssd and gtx 1060

well my current laptop is almost 8 years old and i need a new one for games and class, also online stores in my country are expensive and often give wrong details
