Hi everyone,

Can someone tell me the difference between PCI-Express version 2.0 and 4.0? I am planning on upgrading a DELL 088DT1 motherboard (which is PCI-express 2.0 x16) with a gtx 1050Ti. Will the PCI-Express lane be a bottleneck?

Don't worry PCIE lanes are backwards compatible meaning you can put a PCIE gen 3 video card into a gen 2 slot.
