I've taken off the key cap for the spacebar, revealing the switch. It doesn't return properly, I'm wondering how I can replace the spacebar switch with a switch from a key I rarely use like one of the macros.

Step one. Take it apart (and lose your warranty in the progress, so only proceed if there is no warranty left)

Step two. Desolder the spacebar switch and the sacrificial switch

Step three. Solder said sacrificial switch in where the spacebar should be.

 

Note: keep in mind you can also cheaply get such switches on something like AliExpress or Banggood

 

This is quite a universal guide, so look up a repair guide for the keyboard if possible
