Audio Problem

Go to solution Solved by Fate,

idk man, maybe try going into the bios and seeing if it's disabled there? That's what happened to me a long time ago

Hey Guys,

My mate has this fairly old HP computer with a Core 2 Duo E6750, old but not ancient.

We have installed Windows 7 x64 and everything was working fine apart from the audio, we've found the correct driver on the HP website but still not working.

Today we've installed a Creative Soundblaster Live CT4780 with the correct driver but it is saying 'driver not digitally signed' or some shit and failing.

Anyone got any ideas?

I'm not particularly well educated on driver software or older computers as I've gotten into the tech more recently, but I'd suggest contacting support from HP to see if you could get some assistance from them.

When it comes to something that should be 'simple' usually the company has an easy solution for you.

Best of luck.

Goddamnit, found it disabled in the BIOS but what is annoying that we have been in there about 44,000 times and didn't notice it lol anyway cheers both of you for the assistance :)
