What you should do is get a different tablet. putting a custom launcher on a mid-range touchwiz device never works out well. Samsung's version of android is so bloated that I really wouldn't recommend adding to it with a custom launcher. If you want to stick with android, I'd recommend either a google play edition device or a nexus device.

 

If your sure the apps have been deleted, just uninstall the launcher and report your findings. re-install all the apps that were deleted, then try the launcher out again if you want? It could just be your not accustomed to using this particular launcher yet, so I encourage you to play around with it for a bit first.
