SEARCHING FOR GAMES

Hi guys,

 

I'm looking for some single player games that can be played for hours. Want something that looks pretty good as well. Any suggestions? im into a lot of types of games such as: Platformers (3d ones), FPS, TPS, RPG, RTS, basically anything with a solid story, I loved the witcher 3. sadly I played it so much i got a bit tired of it and want something fresh

sword art online fatal bullet

 

covers   fps + rpg

 

tales of berseria = good rpg

 

sao hollow realization good too ( rpg )

 

nights of azure 1 and 2  rpg

 

megadimension neptunia vii ( the whle series basicly ) rpg

 

Atelier series   < rpg

 

got plenty more but ye that washlist is like a mile long

 

if u love chilling and rpgs,  atelier series r the best

 

if u like mmos but want it in a singleplayer? sao hollow realization best

 

if u love shooters and rpgs?  id say sao fatal bullet xD

 

love hardcore shooters?  serious sam series

For RTS, try out starcraft 2. First campaign is free, story is meh, but gameplay is amazing.

 

If you really want story, just play starcraft 1 & broodware expansion. It's free and has great story, but visuals are kinda really dates. They made a new remaster if you want to pay 15 bucks.

joking about games that stab your feelings aside, into the whole strategy/city builder/sandbox mix games? stuff like anno, civilization, and banished are games that can easily make "a few hours" turn into "a few days". not quite a perfect follow-up to the witcher, however :P

I have the starcrafts, theyre great games but i couldnt fully get into them :/

honestly if u dont like anime games, u miss out on 80-90% of good rpgs ;D

I love banished, amazing game, anno i played for a few hours got bored. prefare cities skylines or banished or tbh even simcity. But i would really like something like witcher 3. Ive been watching god of war latley and i really want a game like that, ive even thought about buying a ps4 just for that game lol

All of these should be singleplayer, but they may have multiplayer components. If I was you, I'd just search through this list - you'll most likely find something you live.

Its a good lists, also serious sam isnt 3D, however i can see the story behind the games youve suggested, i like that kinda of story/.gameplay just not the art style :/, im sadly a very picky yet not picky person when it comes to games :D. But thanks for the suggestions, Might help someone else out in the future if they browse this

Yeah. I've heard it's great; however, for some reason, it doesn't work on my PC... I've got Canyon, Stadium, Valley, Sunrise etc. so I feel like I've got enough

General open World stuff likeTomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3 + 4 (never played 2 and 5 is expensive and less good than 3 + 4).

 

Final Fantasy X, X-2, XII would be a good start, especially XII. Maybe you'll like the 13 Triology.

 

Ni no Kuni II is also a good idea.

 

Borderlands, Borderlands II, though they go more in the Multi Player Direction...

Just try it.

Some of them are amazing, even if you don't like that Anime Stuff.

Some of them are not that amazing if you aren't already an anime Fan.

 

But just try Final Fantasy XII and go from there.

Maybe Tales of Beseria or Zestiria.

Naa, totally disagree with that RTS stuff!

Star Craft 2 isn't that amazing people make it out to be. There are other Alternatives that were big in the days but are less known today.

 

I'd start with Command and Conquer 2, Age of Empires series Supreme Commander and others.

RTS aren't that great these days but were in the olden days, so late 90s to early 2000s...

Fallout with mods. (Mxr mods weekly or alchestbreach are good sources) 

 

civilization (any of them) 

 

warframe is kinda single player 

 

That’s all I got on the top of my head 

 

edit:

stalker. Any of them. 

 

Call of Pripyat is a mod for the third game that makes it completely open ended.

I also love story-heavy single-player games.

In no significant order, those are my recommendations:

  • Metal Gear Solid 5
  • Far Cry - specially 3, blood dragon and 5
  • The Witcher - have you played the first 2?
  • Portal 1 and 2
  • Dishonored (i only played the first, but there are three games)
  • Spec Ops: The Line
  • Middle Earth - both Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War
  • Papers, please
  • Nier Automata
