amd radeon r5 m330 External GPU not working

Hi guys,

I bought a "Lenovo IdeaPad 350" two years ago, it has an internal Intel HD 5500 and a dedicated AMD Radeon R5-M330.

Now I'm not expecting much from either of them in terms of performance, but my problem is whenever there is any graphical load on the system, only the internal GPU seems to work, despite the fact that both of them are recognized by the system (I checked them in Device Manager) and has updated drivers . Even when I'm running games or doing some video editing.

So I'm thinking that maybe I could get more performance in games or other graphic-demanding applications if the external GPU is running instead of the inboard one, what do you think guys?

FYI that is a dedicated GPU not an external one. Just for clarification.

Force it to run through AMD's software. On nvidia's control panel you can force your dGPU to for a program. I assume there's something similair for AMD.

I couldn't find an option to force using the AMD card in AMDs own software
