Hello, I just finished putting this gaming pc on paper. Now the real question is whether or not it is capable of performing well in games. Note I will only be using it for gaming nothing else so thats why I picked some parts that you may argue but here is he explanation:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel - Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor

(Cause most aplications are better optimize towards intel, also I want to delid it in order to get better clock and less temperature and is easier to cool down 4 cores at 5Ghz than 6 cores)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - C7 40.5 CFM CPU Cooler

(Cause it performs well and is basically the same as the noctua, I prefere the withe)
Motherboard: Asus - ROG STRIX Z270i GAMING Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard

(Cause I needed a mobo capable of good overclocking)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

(Cause it is ram)
Storage: ADATA - XPG SX6000 128GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive

(Cause I will only be using it for os)
Storage: Western Digital - Black 1TB 2.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

(Cause I will use it for everything else)
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB SC Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card

(Cause it has the perfect horse power for my needs)
Case: Fractal Design - Node 202 HTPC Case

(Cause I want a small footprint)
Power Supply: Corsair - SF 450W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular SFX Power Supply

(Cause is the perfect size and does not have mustard cables)

If you do not agree please let me now why and what would you change.

No. Kaby Lake is dead. Ryzen is a better choice overall.

Case is an odd choice IMO, do you really need a case that thin?

What's your monitor resolution/refresh rate?

240GB SSD minimum IMO.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

How many times do we have to say DON'T GET KABY LAKE!

Except in very few games, even last gen Ryzen 5 1600 beats out the 7600K, and now the R5 2600, beating it more.

At least get the 8400.

If you want to stick with intel get an i5-8400. It comes with a cooler so you don't have to buy one. You won't be able to overclock it but you won't need to anyways, that and the 1070 should last you at least 3 years of high settings 60+ fps 1080p AAA gaming.
