No, you can't. The dc headers don't support pwm. There's a diagram in the manual right below the one I posted of how the headers are wired and the 4th header provides no signal.

No change, same 0 rpm, no control using pump header.

Are the fans changing speed? Is there a fan plugged into the first fan header on the hub?

Can confirm the front panel thing actually does something, they are just so quiet. What I can say is that all fan headers on the mobo are PWM, and the controller only allows one fan to be PWM controlled.

It says "default". Meaning that they are set to DC from box. Below pic showing how pins respond when setting is changed.

The hub only sends the rpm from the first fan header to the motherboard and splits a signal from the motherboard to the fans on the hub.

Whenever I change rpm or PWM or power requirements, the front 2 fans don’t change.

Did you plug the front fans into the 3pin headers on the hub? The hub only supports one of the pwm / dc modes at a time.

They are 4 pin fans, shouldn’t they be plugged into the 4 pin headers? How come Be Quiet had the fans on slots 2-4 pre routed. I’m just super confused why all 3 fans don’t run at the same speeds when I connect them using a fan controller, am I missing something here? Shouldn’t all 3 fans run at the same speed when connected to a fan controller?

What do you mean by changing power requirements? How are you trying to change rpm? Are you referring to switching between pwm and dc mode? If so, which mode are you changing to?

The fan hub is plugged into sys fan 4, and the 3 fans are plugged into the 4 pin headers on the fan hub, 1-3. I’m just trying to figure out why they all don’t run at the same speed.

How are you determining that they aren't running at the same speed?

The fact that when I set them to 0, 2 are running, 1 is not.

That indicates that the header you plugged the hub into is set to dc and not pwm.

Try some basic hardware troubleshooting. Have you tried eliminating the fan hub from your config and just plugging in the fans directly to the mobo? If from there you are able to control the speeds of the fans it would point towards a problem with the hub. Also, have you tried removing the case's fan controller and trying the same thing? Best to find the route of the issue and repair / return.

I believe I have fixed it. I moved the fans to 2-4 so that the rpm reading is 0, and I changed the modes to PWM, along with using pump header 1 for the hub. Now, they are controlled and I have the minimum at 40% because under that seems to cause problems.
