I have looked at Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Elephone S8. Any other suggestions?

Huawei Mate SE (If you're in the US) or the Honor 7X (If you're out of the US). Both have decent cameras, 5.9 inch screen, a pretty decent battery and camera.
