what would 2 gtx 770's in SLI be equivalent to/

hi guys, i was just wondering, what would 2 of the evga gtx 770 SC ACX in SLI be equivalent to? in comparison to gpu's such as the 780's, 780 ti, r9 290 and 290x etc

a little more performance then all the top single cards like 290x and 780ti, and faster then the 690.

 

remember that you get more problems with drivers and stability once you add a second gpu, not to mention heat problems.

Also if you go to play older games that don't have SLI profiles, your cutting half your power out. Thats why its always advised to go for one high end card than two medium cards.

just to add to what those^ guys said u only get 2gb vram unless u go 4gb versions kind of a waste if u only get 2gb cards as u wont be able to play very good at higher res

in regards to fps, if the 780ti achieves around 90fps what would you guys say the gtx 770 in SLI could achieve?

they would be equivilent, if not a bit faster than a 690. Or, and here's where your mind will be blown; 2 680's in sli

This is usually not an issue.

 

If a game is too old to have an SLI profile then a single 770 is going to run it at a bajillion FPS.
