Hi,

This is my first time posting here, but I am a long time fan of linustechtips on youtube. Can anyone help me with suggestion on how to update my rig?

Here is the current setup:

Processor: i5-3330 @3.00GHZ (Ivy Bridge)
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 @666MHz
VC: GTX 660 Ti Asus 2047MB
HD: WD 500GB
Motherboard: ASUStek P8461-MX USB3 LGA1155

Budget is 380 US Dollars only. Thank you all!

Honestly depends on what you want to use the PC for. Are you doing gaming or are you doing lighter use(work/schoolwork/internet browsing/online shopping)?

1060s are still highly priced. More likely I'd go with a 970/980 even 980ti which is half the price of an actual 1070 and almost equal to one when it comes to performance. Also another 8 gigs of ram and a SSD would do the trick in your situation.

 || CPU: Intel i5-8600K || Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212X || Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370 HD3P || GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050ti OC Windforce 4GB || Memory: 16GB Crucial DDR4 3000mhz || HDD: WD Black 500GB + Seagate Barracuda 2TB || SSD: Samsung 980 1TB || PSU: Corsair VS550 || Case: nJoy Ice Cage || Fans: Segotep Halo Ring RGB ||Monitor: 2x Dell 27" P2717H IPS Full HD || Second Monitor/TV: LG 49UJ620V UHD || Mouse: Logitech G502 || Keyboard: Logitech G810 + Royal Kludge RK84 || Speakers: Philips SPA-5300 subw + Arylic 2.1 + DIY Bookshelves w/ Dayton Audio || Headphones: HyperX Cloud Flight S ||

TO BE UPGRADED:

>> Headphones << >> Keyboard << >> HDD << >> Mouse << >> PC Case << >> Memory(another stick) << >> Graphics Card <<

this is brand new off the shelf price? unfortunately i can only pay by charging it to a provided debit card. the cpu wont be a bottle neck?
