Virus Question

Hello! Weird question, if you accidently hit restore instead of delete on a quarantined virus in Windows defender, but it doesn't show up in allowed threats, but when I go to the home of the Windows Defender Security Center it says that there's a virus and that I should restart to delete it (even after hitting restore) and I do, will this delete it?

As long as you didn't tell it to ignore. Allow Windows Defender to restart and delete it if that is what it wants to do. Do a full scan afterward. If you are getting viruses might I suggest downloading and running malwarebytes and either AVG or Avast? All have free versions you can run.

Thanks for your reply. I'm running a full scan right now as well as I have ran an offline scan. Once that's done I'm going to run Malwarebytes. (Though after some googling about the virus Trojan:JS/Flafisi.D people are saying it's not really harmful?)

I turn off all my antivirus software, manually deleting stuff isnt bad.

IMO if you don't know exactly what a virus or piece of malware does consider it harmful.

Thanks @Razor Blade Just a quick update before I have to go (I'll have to run Malwarebytes in the morning) It doesn't appear in the manual uninstallation and it doesn't seem to appear anywhere but yeah thanks for your help.
