Blue Yeti Setup. Help. pls

So my grandmother magically pulled a Blue Yeti out of her butt, and i dont know how to get it all setup in windows (like the gain and stuff)

Download audacity should maybe be a first and get the mic all plugged it to start.
record like a 5 second segment and see how it sounds out of the box. 

when recording in audacity there should be a green bar that moves relative to volume. If the bar is full and its in the red you need to lower the gain. if it is too low raise the gain. You want it to sit around 3/4's to 1/2.

the gain on the back of the mic can be adjusted. Use audacity as stated above.
