I want to upgrade to 1440p 144hz 32" will my pc still be able to handle everything at quality frames?

 

my 8700k is @ 5.0ghz

i got a msi1080 x+ 

and 32 gb of 3000mhz ram

not maxing out the frame rates to the refresh rate in more graphically demanding games for sure.

Your 1080 may have a little trouble at 1440p144.

1440p is roughly 80% more pixels to render, so assuming memory on your gpu doesn't start to become a bottleneck, you can expect about 55% of the framerate on the higher resolution (100/180) with the same settings.

 

As to what is an acceptable lower limit to framerate for you, that's really only something that you can answer - I find framerates as low as 40 with adaptive sync to be perfectly acceptable but your own preference may vary.
