New pc parts ruined games

I just upgraded my pc with a new graphic card, gtx 1060 6gb ( had a 460 before) and a new 144hz monitor. But after installed csgo started to run worse and have stutter like lag even tho i have 144hz and bf1 don't run well even on lowest settings. Pubg runs better than bf1, even tho pubg have often lagspikes on normal settings. I have the latest gpu driver. Not sure what to do. Feeling slighty angry that i spent all that money to not run my games good.

I have:

 

gtx 1060 6gb gpu

 

i5-7600 cpu

 

16gb ram

 

550w psu

 

Not sure what to do.

What was the refresh rate of the old monitor?

try uninstalling the GPU driver and then restart and installing the driver again. A driver uninstall utility might help.
