Why is chrome at 13 processes?

Chrome is super compartmentalized, which means each internal process is it's own. It sandboxes it for security basically.
Basically, this means flash gets a process, each extension gets a process, there's the main process, and AFAIK (but not sure) each webpage gets a process as well.
EDIT: Use Shift+Esc to get to the builtin task manager.
