Speed at Will

I want to control the speed 6 3-pin fans at will with software. I've tried SpeedFan, but it didn't work out. I'm using a Silverstone CPF04 1-to-8 PWM Fan Hub and connected the 6 fans to it. Is there a better way or any way to control my fan speeds at will.

does that fan hub come with any software?

 

you can try to see if the BIOS detects anything. or use something like HZXT CAM tho i think that requires certain parts

What motherboard and fans do you have?

A 4pin pwm hub provides a 12v signal which will result in 100% rpm for 2-3pin fans.

You can't power more than 3/4 3pin fans from single fan header. And using external power will make them run at full speed unless hub is built to convert signal. Your splitter doesn't probably do that. You need to get 3-way splitter and use them. After that you can use Asus FanXpert, BIOS or Speedfan (or paid software).

I think this will work. It says PWM, but only difference is that it has more pins available. Once you use 3pin fans and set BIOS for DC control, it should work.
