I'm using the ASUS B85M-G R2.0.

You can't power more than 3/4 3pin fans from single fan header. And using external power will make them run at full speed unless hub is built to convert signal. Your splitter doesn't probably do that. You need to get 3-way splitter and use them. After that you can use Asus FanXpert, BIOS or Speedfan (or paid software).

BIOS or motherboard software.

What motherboard and fans do you have?

A 4pin pwm hub provides a 12v signal which will result in 100% rpm for 2-3pin fans.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

Can you send me a link to a 3-way splitter on Amazon?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004CLFOK4/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1523789016&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=3-pin+fan+3+way+splitter&dpPl=1&dpID=41mKtLjGUBL&ref=plSrch

I think this will work. It says PWM, but only difference is that it has more pins available. Once you use 3pin fans and set BIOS for DC control, it should work.
