...what still happens?

 

Every program you need to install pretty much needs to run as administrator to install.

Gaming - Ryzen 9800X3D | 64GB 6400mhz cl30 | 9070 XT

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing. 

3970X/256GB - 5950X/128GB ECC - 5600G/96GB - 3400GE/16GB - 3400GE/16GB

Is your account admin? If not, you might need to create new account which has full admin rights. For mobo drivers I recommend downloading latest versions from mobos support page.
