Sony Vegas "loading Peaks" freeze with Shadowplay clips (compoundplug)

The issue is that whenever I insert a clip into Sony Vegas (any version), the "building peaks" popup will show and freeze the program. I have found a way that prevents this issue but in return will screw up the audio file of the Shadowplay clip. The clip's audio will essentially be randomized and out-of-sync.

To begin with, the clips audio is completely in-sync in VLC, Window's Media Player, and other media viewing softwares. So I believe that it is an issue with the way Sony Vegas and Shadowplay clips react to each other. Now, the way I "fixed" the building peaks issue was to disable the Compoundplug in Sony files (which in return makes the audio out-of-sync like I said above.

If anybody, by any chance, has an idea on how to fix this bug without disabling the Compoundplug and still having the audio in-sync, please tell me!

To sum everything up, the main problem is between the clips and the Compoundplug file within Sony Vegas' files. However, when Compoundplug is disabled, the audio is randomized and off-sync (Raw file's audio is perfectly fine).

I am not sure how I can fix this without disabling the Compoundplug

Just use handbrake to encode it to a different format?

That just seems like it would take way too much work, I should just be able to drag and drop it into Sony Vegas like I could before. Do you think an Nvidia update could cause this to happen?

Dunno, play with the encoder settings in shadowplay, or maybe switch to OBS with NVENC.

Did you already try reinstalling vegas?

I've reinstalled Vegas, OBS Nvenc works fine. I still can't think of what the issue is

Try downloading Resolve and see what happens there maybe.

I've figured out that it must be an issue caused by shadowplay's "seperate tracks" feature. When I had this disabled everything worked fine but ill have to keep testing this.
