why liquid cooler instead of air? recommend air over liquid for price/perf

get a ssd

your motherboard does not support coffee lake. you need 300 series motherboards (z370, b360, h370) for it to work

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Welcome to the forum!

As already pointed out, you can't use that motherboard with the CPU you've chosen.

Why do you have a radiator? Are you going to be liquid cooling the GPU?

I'd try and fit the 240mm cooler into your budget. 120mm coolers aren't really worth it.

no point in a 240mm AIO and Z370 board for a locked i5, use the stock cooler and a H310 board and use the money for an ssd and 16gb of ram.

Oh they finally released H310M, thankfully. And it looks like the prices of GPUs are going down...

I agree with all of this except the OS, he could save some by getting it from Kinguin, and get slightly faster RAM

I've gone for a slightly different build that will get you the monitor that counts, but you need to spend a little more.

Just to add, it may be worth paying $10 extra for a B360 board with 4 ram slots + 2x8gb ram for dual channel.

Not really. Especially in games like CSGO.

i5-8600k, MSI Z370-A Pro, 2x 8GB DDR4-3k, MSI Gaming X 1060, NZXT S340, 2TB HDD, 750w Corsair PSU, AOC 2775 OC'd to 80Hz and CFG73 at 144hz

Comic sans is the worst font

Would go for the R5 1600 or R5 2600 instead, Ryzen 2 comes out in 8 days, better to have the option of multi-threaded performance over a slight advantage in gaming.

Also that Motherboard has no VRM heatsinks, would get one that at least has something.

Wouldn't pay that much for a 1060, should just live with the cheaper 1050ti, will still be alright

Buy a case that actually has airflow as well.
