Hello good day!

Can someone tell me the difference in performance of a

4mb cache (Ryzen 5 2400g)

vs

16mb cache (Ryzen 5 1600)

What apps use cache and is it a huge difference in performance?

Does it affect gaming?

Does it affect rendering?

Please answer thank you! :)

Cache affects all workloads. The amount differs per application, though. The R5 1600 is the overall faster chip, so if you don't need the IGP in the 2400G, don't bother.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro
