Raspberry pi VPN

Djibo

Hi, in planning on making a little VPN server with a Raspberry pi, but i'm curious if i leave the pi at home, can I still use the pi when i'm at school?

That's the whole point of a VPN. In this case, a site-to-site VPN, so you can log onto your home network from school ;)

Port forward the ports required by OpenVPN, make sure you have the config files in your OpenVPN folder on your laptop @ school and you're set.

Only if you know your home's ip address at all times (or rent a domain name). You'd also need to open a port on your router.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Do you mean you want to connect to the pi when it's at home and you at school by using a VPN connection?

You can't just move the pi when it's a VPN server to wherever you want because the rest of the network needs to be configured for it as well.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3
