Is it worth getting a 1080 ti now or wait for the next gen from Navdia, don't mind waiting upwards of 6 months but not much more ?

actually you should buy a gtx titan x pascal if you don't have budget problem or rather wait .

 

also u can buy gtx 1080ti and gtx titan x

I went ahead and got a 1080.

Figured it should be able to play most games on 1080 high settings at 60fps until the release of the 12th generation in about 2-3 years. 

 

If you're not specifically going for 144fps or 4K gaming, you should do fine with a 1080TI.

Considering Titan V's performance the 1180 will not outperform 1080 Ti and you'll have to wait an extra year for the Ti successor. Do as you see fit.

don't know were u get that info but ther biggest issue with the titan v is its cost seeing as you could by 2 1080 tis and still have change, there are meny tests on YT were a single titan v holds up vs 2 1080 ti's and the nest gen 1080 ti will out peform the current one that's just simple logic, I might wait I thiunk tanks alll

The 1080 Ti and the 2080 will perform much the same making waiting rather pointless if you can afford one right now, it'll be far more than a year of wait from now for an actual worthy card like the 2080 Ti that will be closer to the TITAN V performance.
