Ok so when I plug my headset in, my computer detects that there, a headset connected. But I cant hear anything out of it and I also can't talk, no one can hear me. I went to recording devices and I see microphone, but its not picking up anything, for it to pick up anything, I would have to hit it or something. Anyone know how to fix this, I'm usually able to hear though these and be able to talk to people. And I'm certain that these headphones aren't broken and that I have the latest udio drivers. Sorry if there's an obvious answer, I'm new to this lol.

Can you elaborate. Did it just randomly stop working or was it damaged? Did it work fine out of the box? Have you tried using the headset with a different device or computer?

Well I built this computer just recently, and I haven't really played games too much. But now I'm starting to, and I want to play with my friends. Also I tried the headset on my xbox controller and it worked perfectly.
