Destiny 2, PUBG, Fortnite, GTA V, and - arguably the hardest - Minecraft.

1080p at 60Hz, but I might want to upgrade to a 1440p with a higher Hz. But as of right now, 1080p at 60Hz.

This should do the trick nicely. You could save a bit by not getting a 1080, but it'll do just fine at 1080p60 and will last you longer at 1440p and higher refresh rates.

I've never built a PC, I've only watched videos. What is the likelihood that I break something? Any advice on building a PC? Should I take the parts to a micro center and have them build to make sure I don't break anything? Just being cautious.

just be careful when you're installing the cpu, PC hardware isn't very fragile. get a magnetic screwdriver, it will make your life much, much easier. just look up guides on YouTube and follow accordingly.

I'm not going to buy the actual PC for another couple of months, I'm just planning ahead. I'll try not to break it when I put it together lol. I've watched at least 20 videos on how to assemble a pc. I'm saying this with no exaggeration. I could tell you how to put a computer together simply by saying the steps, but I haven't actually done it. Fingers crossed I guess.

I've said this to a friend before, if you can read and follow written instructions, you're basically good to go.

Do you think the CPU is bottle-necking anything at all? Or is A ryzen 5 more powerful than I think?

The Ryzen 5 1600 is a wonderful CPU, I've been using one for a few months now and really like it. It's not going to bottleneck a 1080.

Alright, thanks for your input. I think I'm going to go with this PC. But I'm switching the case to a white and purple s340 (It's more my style). I have $681 saved. That's half the build! Do you think I should order each part as soon as I can or should I just wait an order them all at once?

Order them all at once. If you have a Micro Center near you, you can save up to $30 on the motherboard if you buy it with a compatible CPU, which is an absolutely killer deal. I bought my Ryzen 5 1600 and Asrock AB350-Pro4 from them, only cost me ~$250-260 instead of closer to $300.

You might be able to get a discount on RAM and GPU buying from them as well. Honestly, if they have everything you need, there isn't much reason to not get everything while you're there.

I'll make a visit there and see if they have all the parts. Let's hope I don't fry the motherboard or something.. Thanks for your input!
