PIA Certificate not valid

Just signed up to give privateinternetaccess a try.  Subscribed a year, got the installer for win 10, but windows blocks it.  Googling seems to indicate this has happened in the past or perhaps is policy by pia? I find this confusing as looking at the certificate yields a report that it did not validate.  I have not installed yet and am reluctant to without an explanation for this. The digital signature properties of the downloaded file indicate a digisign sha2 certficate valid from 12/21/17 to 1/4/19 but the status says "The Digital Signature of the object did not verify".

  I'm no expert in this topic but it is concerning, no?
