Dell Inspiron Built in keyboard malfunctioning

So I have a Dell Inspiron for school it's service code is DNNLSJ2 and at home the keyboard is fine BUT at school it doesn't work/I have to put tonnes of pressure on it. Does anyone know what the problem is?

And it works just fine after you take it home from school, as if nothing was ever wrong?

Ye thats exactly it. I know it isn't drivers bc the same happens on Ubuntu and the drivers wouldn't need wifi.
