So Ive been looking on the internet and on youtube I have seen that purchasing Windows 10 pro OEM keys are cheap on ebay and so on. And they have got good reviews and one of my friends said that he has a copy and got windows for 5 bucks and has no problems. Is it worth even buying a key on ebay or what is the deal here?

I've previously purchased keys from eBay and keystores. I've never had a problem with any of them, but just to be safe pay with PayPal so you can chargeback if the is a problem.

The keys for that cheap are always a bit dodgy. They'll normally work, but they may be obtained in an illegal manner or not intended to be resold (something like an MSDN key).

Bear in mind that eBay buyer protection doesn't extend to digital download/key sales, so if you get a bad key, you may be out of luck. That said, I've bought a Steam key from eBay before and the guy didn't send it to me and I ended up getting my money back from eBay within a few hours, so it's not like they just won't cover you at all. I'd just advise keeping any and all communication between you and the seller through eBay messages so if you need to claim your money back, eBay can see all of the communication between you.

Here's the reply I just wrote to another thread. All facts, like ToS' of each site and for MS OEMs are available online, feel free to check yourself.

I've paid full OEM price for my current copy back in 2010. I would recommend you doing same. Or even better, paying ~$50 more for retail key.
