Gonna hijack this cause I'm looking for something similar.

Thin gaming laptop

Good battery 5+ actual use hrs

Prefferably not 4k to save some battery

Less than $2500

No too gamer looking

I was looking at surface book 2, Razer blade, stuff like that. Having some trouble finding something that fits my needs. Surface book is a little strange but I do love the look. Not so crazy about it not sitting on your lap very well. I've heard Razer blade has some serious battery weirdness.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Gigabyte Aero 15/15X. FYI thin gaming laptops tend to have higher surface temps and fan noise. A repaste is highly recommended (liquid metal if you know how to do it). The max GPU you can go in a thin gaming laptop is 1070 Max-Q (MSI GE Raider has a full 1070N), higher than that is not recommended (eventually will become toaster).

That is one hell of a laptop. Thanks for the help. Never repasted with liquid metal but I just watched a video on it and it doesn't seem too difficult. Thanks for the recommendation I think that's absolutely the right laptop for me.
