OBS uses about 6% of my CPU power for 1080p60. Try it.

Seriously, screen capture software doesn't use much of your CPU. I used to have an ancient laptop with a Celeron 1007U, and while recording with Camtasia, I didn't drop more than 5FPS in Minecraft...

Also, you're being kind of a dick. Don't do that. This is a friendly forum.

HyperLuL. A 4690k, first of all, is several generations old. It's not exactly top of the line. OBS really is just not demanding.

If you're going to insult people on these forums (which is really not encouraged in any case), please educate yourself before you do it.

Try OBS and see what it can handle. You'll figure it out, but quote me if you need help.

Could you post actual specs of that laptop? You probably aren't going to be able to record anything at very high settings in game, maybe nothing at 720p. I would recommend trying with MSI Afterburner, but I haven't used that on laptop/itegrated GPU. It used to give decent quality on Q6600 and 560Ti.

Same as mine... Nope on 720p then. OBS works, but with 480 at most.
