Hello, recently I started to use PSU tier lists (mainly 2 - LTT and Toms Hardware)

I am now choosing a PSU for my personal rig, and am a bit lost.

Ive found (in my country) the Seasonic M12II-EVO520 for sale at around 62 euros

(link: https://www.1a.lv/datoru_komponentes_tikla_produkti/korpuss_dzesesana/barosanas_bloki/seasonic_m12ii520_evo_520w_m12iievo520 )

Thats where my confusion comes from, the Toms Hardware one displays M12II EVOs (fully modular) as Tier Two, yet i cant find it all on LTT, is there a reason its not on the list, or whats the fuzz?

I was going to go for the 620w one thats t2 on both lists, but this one is modular.

Also, 520W should be fine for my build, but to make sure:

i5-4690k (Currently OC'ed to 4.2, planning to go high 4s with new cooler)
Z97-PC Mate

Club3d Royal Queen HD 7850 (stock)(yes, i know..)

MasterLiquid 240 Lite

1 SSD

1 7.2k HDD

Razer Mouse/Keyboard

5 Fans

3 60hz 24 LED monitors

(Not sure how much the last 3 variables matter, but just gonna throw them in)

In the future plan on upgrading to Ryzen 2, and the new Nvidia series cards, but with how little information there is about those cards, im guessing cant estimate the power usage now.

It is on the list, at Tier 4. It's a very old PSU that you shouldn't really buy unless you have an ancient system.

Get a Corsair CX450M instead.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Ah, right, forgot to mention that, i saw the non-evo ones at t4 on LTT list, so thought theres some sort of a differece.

Anyhow, is 450w enough for say a ryzen 5, 1060 build? (Dont want to upgrade again when upgrading cpu/gpu)

The M12 regardless is still 8 years old.

Yes, a 1060 and 1600 would use maybe 250W if you OC'd the CPU. If you get anything beyond a 1070 then you might want a 550W unit so you can be sure to have the PCIe connections, but that's about it.

Thanks for the help, ended up finding a 450 MasterWatt for the same price, so going with that one.

Pure Power 10, 400W is better.

Cougar GX-S 450W is also a good option

Maybe eventually Xilence Performance X, 550W.
