drop the orbweaver and leviathan, you won't use either. maybe change your peripherals to something that isn't razer shite and you'll save a good chunk of change as well.

change h440 back to normal h440 instead of the razer™ edition and maybe you'll save some money. Not sure about pricing in Canada though.

Ryzen CPUs are really cheap now due to the imminent release of Ryzen 2 (April 19th is the current rumour). An 1800X should be around $50-80 cheaper. It's almost $100 cheaper here in aus. Likewise, AM4 motherboards are also generally slightly cheaper and with similar features (minus TB3 and type c usb on most of them).

Also, I noticed GPU prices have started dropping slightly over the last few weeks. It might be worth waiting it out a month or so to see if they get any cheaper. Plus, that is a very expensive 1080ti. Are there any cheaper ones on the market right now?

Another thing that might be worth considering: do you need DDR4-3866 RAM? Slower RAM like 3200 or 3000 will save you a lot of money.

Thanks alot but I don't want to change the NZXT cooler because I'll add hue+ because of the nzxt fans but what is the difference between s340 and h440? I know s340 is the latest but the h440 looks better but has compatibility issues

The H440 is a slightly older design. A little larger than the S340 with more sound dampening.

The Razer design is purposefully simple. You might consider not adding too much more lighting.

Doubtful. But they may get a little closer and offer a better price/performance ratio.

It is possible but using Aer RGB fans will dramatically reduce the cooler's efficiency as the fans do not exert enough static pressure.

Uh, well don't do it?

Almost all Razer products are a huge waste of money.

They break after a few months/years, cost way too much for their cheap quality, and are mostly just marketed to 13 year olds.

Just build a regular computer setup with good quality brands.

Seriously dude, don't buy into the marketing.

Only kids waste their parent's money on Razer.

Not only does it look bad but it's crap quality.

You're already spending way too much on a computer that is overkill for gaming.

I'm a black/green fan and the only main green and black brand that produces peripherals are Razer plus I don't care about the quality and price of the peripherals, just want it to look good and do good

With that much green you wont be able to look at your pc after one month. Those 6 rgb fans would be huge overkill. If u like razer so much keep the keyboard and mouse, case. But for headphones get something from reputable brand like sennheiser they have amazing headphones, btw 7.1 in headphones is so useless. I have like never ever used it. Also do not buy 5.1 speakers for pc, its a shit telling you from my personal experience (ye i was young and brainless once). Rather go for quality 2.0 (bose companion) or 2.1 (maybe logitech z623)

I would have kept the M2 NVME SSD but perhaps change from the 960 pro to the 960 evo to save a few $$.

I agree with @matus177. Change to a 2.1 setup. 5.1 is overkill unless you have the space and actually plan on mounting them in a proper configuration.

Same goes for the headphones, they are probably overkill. If you are going to have them on most of the time, look for comfort and quality. 7.1 won't be beneficial.

Also, by reducing the RAM from 3200 to 3000, you can go from $565 to $469. And I highly doubt the difference would be noticeable to most people. Assuming you are planning some overclocking anyway, so you can get that speed back most likely.

wouldn't be overkill for a ton of years plus when I test it soon I'll probably be comfortable with it, I've used not-good headphones before but it's ok for me as long as the pc is fine
