Hello all,

Raspbian booted fine and gave me no problems, but I need Ubuntu for something so I tried to follow the instructions for the 3b, as there are no 3b+ yet that I have seen and I got the rainbow screen.
I updated the firmwear on the boot sector of the SD card from here https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware and got the system to boot and resize the partition, but I am stuck at the language selection now with no mouse or keyboard.
Is there something else I need to update to make it work? I am using a 12W ipad power supply to make sure I have enough juice. so I don't think that is the problem, but I am not sure.
Thanks in advance for the assist!

All i have a reallllly old Original Model B+ but I can tell you no power supply ever worked perfectly for me until I picked up a "5.1V" power adapter.

The .1 extra volts was marketed at the time as adding a good amount of stability because most other power adapters would Vdroop too much.

Not sure if this is still the case.... can't remember where I bought that thing from. I can look at it when I get home if you're interested.
