and the cpu .. i dont remember  but it isnt too high

Well since stress testing and playing other games like fortnite works just fine it may be an issue caused by those mentioned games. But you already reinstalled and verified existing game files right?

Hello!

Well as mentioned in the title i have been experiencing some  issues with my PC .

my pc suddenly started crashing and restart it self when i launched games like rainbow 6 siege and pubg (i would play for few mins or seconds and the PC shuts off and restart)

and this problem didn't occur when i tried to test the GPU and CPU in stress tests .

So i did a fresh install of windows and nothing fixed .

then i started to play few low end titles on low settings like fortnight and dirty bomb it worked fine then i tried to update the GPU driver and tried pubg and the PC shuts down and restarts like usual except this time i didn't saw any output on my monitor. every thing was black but i managed to shut down the PC using keyboard shortcuts, so the PC should have been running. there for i opened the vase and took out the GPU off my system and used the igpu to boot everything worked fine. but when i boot with the GPU it didn't  show anything on the screen its just black. the fans on the GPU still running  yet...

i don't know what to do so any kind of solution will be very very helpful.

The specs of my PC are :-

cpu         -  i3 6100 (stock heat sink)
gpu         -  zotac gtx 970 (ik this gpu is way better for i3 but i got it for like 220ish usd and the msi gtx 960 4gb was 210ish usd . so i thought why not)

ram         -  kingstone hyperx fury black 8 gb ddr4 2133mhz (single stick)

mobo      -  GA-H110M-DS2

psu          -  cooler master b500 v2 500 watt psu (only 80+ rated)

storage   -  kingstone  uv400 120 gb ssd  + Toshiba 500gb hdd (old hdd)

Did you already try using the GPU in a different PCIe slot? Also maybe try another cable and another output port on your GPU. That's what I would do first. After then do you still have warranty on your card? (if yes try to RMA it).

Well your psu is definitely fine for your build, sounds really like that 970 could be the problem imo. For warranty claims you'll have to contact the seller or site you bought it from. Do you know the temps of the i3 and the 970 under load? Also what happens while stress testing your pc?

Well that kinda assures my first thought: Broken Gpu. You'll really have to try to get that warranty and send that 970 back. I hope everything will be fine for you.
