Razer Blade not receiving mic input

I recently bought a razer blade late 2016 with gtx 1060, and when i plug in microphone, no matter the app or game, i doesn't receive any sort of microphone input, and its really annoying have to use my phone for chat and laptop for game sound. the headphone jack still works and i receive game audio and everything , but it doesn't receive audio from my mic, and when i first got the razer, i received game audio and it received mic input. Maybe I turned something off? help would be appreciated

Right click the sound icon in bottom right.

Are you still having problems with the mic? I just did a factory reset but still no signal from the mic. Any ideas?
