Those things aren't exactly light, so I can see the high shipping cost being plausible.

If you really want one of those, search locally. i'm sure you'll find some large office that upgrade to something newer.
In my former work place we had dozens of the, lying around, waiting to be scarped (cannot be sold due to Data Security limitations). Even my current work place started to buy newer Dell PCs. Mini ITX with 7th Gen i5 and SSDs.
