graphics card Does an 8 pin connector come with a graphics card?

Hey i'm just wondering since my old card uses double 6 pin so i have no 8 pin laying around, so do i have to order one when i order my new card or is that generally included?

 

The card im gonna buy is the Asus GTX1070TI ROG STRIX

Are your PSU connectors not 6+2?

The cables come with the PSU, not the GPU.

 

As mentioned above though, are you sure they're not 6+2's that you have at the moment?

According to the product photographs, the GTX 1070Ti StriX does not come with a PCI-E 6-to-8 pin adapter.

Generally, you shouldn't be using any adapters -- you should be using a PSU that has the required power connectors your graphics card needs.

 

@GamerForFun What make and model power supply do you have?

Never mind  i had a 8 pin connector in the box, it had just been hiding really well.
